Lahore Qalandars won the toss and opted to bowl first against Karachi Kings.
Karachi Kings are sitting at the third spot with 9 points against their name in seven matches, they need one more victory to advance into the playoffs. On the other hand, Lahore Qalandars, who have been already eliminated from the tournament due to just one victory in their seven contests this season, will be hoping to become party spoilers.
Karachi Kings were extremely impressive against Multan Sultans in their last match, where they posted the highest total of this season of PSL, 188/3, on the other hand, they also dominated the star-studded batting line of the newest franchise of the league where Shahid Afridi led from the front.
Lahore Qalandars will be looking to end the tournament on a high by winning their remaining three matches that can beef up their confidence for the next edition of the league. Fakhar Zaman, Brendon McCullum and other batsmen in their line-up will be hoping to live up to fans’ expectations from them in the rest of their games.
