Islamabad United have qualified for the final of PSL 3 with a convincing win against Karachi Kings. The winner of Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi contest will take on the Kings in the second eliminator of the PSL in Lahore, the winner of that match will play against Islamabad United in Karachi.

Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bat first against Islamabad United in the all-important qualifier.

The first and second ranked teams of Pakistan Super League, Islamabad United and Karachi Kings will fight for a place in the final of PSL which will be played in Karachi. The loser will get their second chance as they will take on the winner of the first eliminator between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators in Lahore, in the second playoff that will be played in the city.

Islamabad United will play without their skipper, Misbah Ul Haq who suffered a hairline fracture in the last game and JP Duminy will lead the men in red. On the other hand, Imad Wasim’s availability is also doubtful for the game, he has not played for KK since he suffered an injury in the match against Lahore Qalandars.
