Rawalpindi: James Vince powerpack 61 not-out guided Multan Sultans to convincing nine-wicket win against Islamabad United.
In the 22nd fixture of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five, Sultans opted to bowl first after winning the toss in nine-over per side game at Pindi Cricket Stadium.

Sultans restricted 91-7 courtesy Junaid Khan and Imran Tahir two wickets each which stopped United to score big after a great start.
Colin Munro (25) smashed three sixes to Shahid Afridi after getting out to Tahir. Luke Ronchi dismissed after scoring 10-balls 18. United’s captain Shadab Khan made 12-balls 14.
Sultans’ openers started the chase without any hesitation. Vince smacked Akif for five consecutive fours in the second over. He made 24-ball 61*, fastest fifty by an English man in PSL history. Zeeshan Ashraf and Moeen Ali made 16 and 14 respectively. Vince was awarded the player of the match.
Sultans are at the top of the standings with five wins and 11 points whereas United are at third with seven points. They have only one game left in the season against Karachi Kings at National Stadium which will be a must-win game for them.
