Rawalpindi: Leg spinner Usman Qadir picked four wickets to drive Pakistan to a comfortable 3-0 whitewash against Zimbabwe Zimbabwe with an eight-wicket victory in the third and final T20I here at Pindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Son of the late star spinner Abdul Qadir, Usman finished with figures of 4-13 in four overs to restrict the visitors to a small total of 129-9 in 20 overs.
Green Shirts batters which cruised to victory in 15.2 overs losing just two wickets. Pakistan lost Fakhar Zaman (21) and Haider Ali (27) but debutant Abdullah Shafique top-scored with 41 and saw Pakistan home with Khushdil Shah, smashing quickfire 36.

Pakistan recorded their 14th win in as many T20 internationals against Zimbabwe, and are now fourth in the international T20 rankings.
Earlier, Zimbabwe won the toss and batted. They were derailed by Usman, who recorded third-best figures by a Pakistani bowler against Zimbabwe and fifth overall by a Pakistani spinner in this format.
Qadir was behind Zimbabwe’s middle-overs collapse. Starting with the wicket of skipper Chamu Chibhabha (31), before dismissing Wesley Madhevere (nine), Milton Shumba (11), and Elton Chigumbura (2). Pakistani left-arm spinner Imad Wasim finished with 2-27 while Haris Rauf and Mohammad Hasnain took one each.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe allrounder Elton Chigumbura received a warm farewell when he came to bat from his teammates and opposition as he announced retirement from international cricket.
Usman Qadir was awarded player of the match for his 4/13 and also player of the series as he took eight wickets in three matches.
