India: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli*, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravi Ashwin, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah

TOSS

India has won the toss and decided to field first which can be termed as an initial blow to Sarfraz who has preferred to field first in the tournament.

BIG OCCASION

The big occasion is here. It’s perfectly set-up. As perfect as Pakistan taking on arch-rivals India in a final of a tournament where they were not even expected to reach the semi-finals. The underdogs, the team which had ‘nothing to lose’ has made it.

Sarfraz Ahmed and co. have come stronger in each match they’ve played during the tournament and if they keep up with that pattern then Virat Kohli and his men need to fear the Men in Green.

Kohli, however, has called out to his teammates to take the high-voltage encounter as ‘just another match’.
