LONDON: England were all out for 389 in the first session of Lord’s Test against New Zealand on Friday, ARYSports reports.
England started the second day’s proceedings at 354/7. The side was back in the pavilion for 389 runs.
Joe Root fell just two runs short of his century as he made 98 runs from 161 balls while Ben Stokes also missed out on his ton as he was dismissed at 92 runs.
Jos Buttler made 67 while Moeen Ali scored 58 runs.
Pacers Trent Boult and Matt Henry took four wickets each while Tim Southee and Mark Craig also got one wicket each.
