Fast bowler Anwar Ali was supposed to take part in the 3 match ODI series versus Zimbabwe but due to injury Amir Yamin is set to replace him as his name is included in the Pakistani squad.
Due to a minor groin injury the selectors tried to gain time for his early recovery by not letting Anwar Ali play the initial two 20 matches, but it seems the pacer is unable to make it even for the next ODI matches. He was unable to clear the fitness test, therefore it has been decided to give a chance to young player and one of the top achievers of the recently concluded domestic T20 cup Amir Yamin in his place.
The approval of this change in squad has been announced by PCB on a social website. The 25 years old All Rounder Amir Yamin hails from Multan and has played 25 First Class matches scoring 1058 runs with an avg: of 39.18 including 3 centuries to his credit. He also grabbed 58 wickets. The 3 One day series against Zimbabwe will begin from 1st of October, the 2nd One day will be played on 3rd and the final match on 5th of October.
