Malik scored a brilliant 245 runs knock as he took Pakistan to a very strong position in the match and it wont be wrong to say that he has put his side in the driving seat against England especially considering the fact the the English batsmen find it tough to handle Pakistan bowlers and their spinners in particular.
Malik might be called on to bowl his off spinners ,if required, as Pakistan will look someone to bowl a few overs in the absence of Yasir Shah and the heat in Abu Dhabi.
