Karachi: Former Indian batsman Sanjay Manjrekar has rated Pakistan’s top batsman Babar Azam as one of his favorite players in the cricketing circuit recently.
Manjrekar, now a renowned commentator said that the 25-year-old Babar’s performances in the series against Australia last year brought attention towards him.
“Babar Azam is somebody I’m really enjoying and following his career as he scored four centuries in the last five Test matches. If someone is scoring a century and 90 odd in Australia then attention goes towards that player, so I’m excited about him,” he said in a video with Ramiz Raja on YouTube.
Babar Azam has played 26 Test matches until now and has scored 1850 runs while averaging at 45.12 with five centuries and 13 fifties.
