Karachi: Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones highly praised Karachi Kings’ owner Mr. Salman Iqbal and called him ‘His mate’.
Speaking on ‘ARY Sports Gup Shup’, the head coach of Karachi Kings Jones highlighted how passionate Mr. Salman is about the game of cricket which is why he is the best in the business. “I love his passion for the game, his knowledge of the game is fantastic and that is why I think I love his company,” Jones marked. “I would say he is my mate, a very good friend whom I love to spend my time with,” he added.

Jones also talked about Mr. Salman’s passion for Pakistan and underlined the fact that he is involved in lifting up sports in the country. “His love for Pakistan is immense. He always tries to contribute to his country and also helps Prime Minister Imran Khan as a leader,” he said.
Meanwhile, Jones also talked about Karachi Kings’ as a unit. The cricketer-turned-commentator highly rated fans. “I really enjoyed my time with Karachi Kings,” he said. “Our fans are amazing and we really enjoyed their company throughout. I still remember how the roundabouts on the streets of Karachi were filled with the immense crowd supporting us and chanting for us, amazing memories,” he recalled.
