Mir Hamza, 26-years-old Pakistani pacer is confident to contribute worthy for Sussex in this year’s County Championship starting from April 5.
The left-arm seamer joined the club on Monday with an aim to start his new assignment on high. He will play 11 matches for Sussex’s County Championship, a tour game against Australia A and Royal One Day Cup.
Hamza made his Test debut for Pakistan in 2018 against Australia where he took just a wicket. His First-Class career has 282 wickets in 59 matches at an average of 18.34 which makes him compelling on the field. Hamza has also represented Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
