Mirpurkhas Ke Shehzade won their second consecutive game of Karachi Kings’ tournament Sindh Ke Shehzade as they defeated Hyderabad Ke Shehzade by four wickets in a game played on Tuesday at Naya Nazimabad Stadium.
Batting first after winning the toss, Hyderabad Ke Shehzade never got off with their batting and kept losing wickets at regular intervals.
Danyal Rajput and Fawad Ahmed were the top scorers for Hyderabad Ke Shehzade with 36 and 20 runs respectively. The poor batting display from Hyderabad Ke Shehzade restricted them to a small total of 117/8.
Sheran Malik was the pick of the bowler for Mirpurkhas Ke Shehzade as he picked three wickets for 7 runs in four overs. Moreover, Hamza Qadir took two wickets, while Afraz Khoso and Asim Ali took one wicket each.
In reply, Mirpurkhas Ke Shehzade had a disastrous start with losing Mohammad Saddam without scoring a run. They further tumbled to 37/3, while Ahmed Kabir and Hamza Qadir scored 22 and 39 runs respectively to take their team home.
Muhammad Waqar, Asif Mehmood and Asif Malik took one wicket each, whereas, they lost three batsmen to poor running.
