Karachi: Test captain Misbah says he’s disappointed on Pak-India cricket series cancellation.
Misbab said had the ODIs and T20 series between India and Pakistan taken place it would have brought good results and benefited both the countries. He said “I feel sorry cricket is not being played between the two countries.” Replying to a question the national captain said PSL event will be fruitful for the country and the league will help national cricket as well as other cricketers to prove their talent. I am completely ready to play the PSL.
Misbah said I want to go to England and play club cricket so that my performance in domestic cricket helps me to avail the opportunity of playing county cricket. He said I have no intentions of retiring from cricket and as long as I am fit I’ll keep playing. Replying to another question the captain said Pakistan’s un impressive ranking in ODIs is due to the scarcity of club level cricket in the country and as long as we are unable to initiate a competitive trend at this level, it would be difficult to hunt new talent.
