BRISBANE: Former South Africa captain Graeme Smith has said that only Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq is performing for his side in the ongoing World Cup, ARY News reports on Monday.
Graeme Smith, terming Misbah as a threat for South Africa, said that the green shirts captain alone does more than half of the work for his team.
It should be noted that Misbah-ul-Haq scored 76, 7 and 73 against India, West Indies and Zimbabwe respectively so far in his final World Cup.
Smith, terming Pakistan’s middle order dangerous for South Africa, stated that Wahab Riaz can take wickets and can score runs with the bat as well.
He also said that only Mohammad Irfan has strengthened Pakistan’s pace attack in the mega event so far.
The green shirts take on United Arab Emirates (UAE) on 4th March at Napier. They will go head to head against South Africa and Ireland on 7th and 15th March at Auckland.
