Misbah says he doesn’t have any insecurity of losing job as head coach


Lahore: Pakistan men’s team head coach Misbah-ul-Haq has once again affirmed that he doesn’t have any insecurity of losing his job.

The 46-year-old Misbah, while talking to reporters in a virtual presser after T20I series win over South Africa, stated that there are few uncontrollable things while being in this position.

“I don’t have any insecurity as the results are not in our control, nor is it in our control that how long board will keep us. The only important thing is to concentrate on the given opportunity,” he added.

Misbah believes that the win against South Africa was very important for the team. “The win has lifted team’s morale and we won both the series under a new captain (Babar Azam).”

Note, Pakistan beat South Africa in the three-match T20I series by 2-1. The home side also thrashed the visitors 2-0 in the Test series.
