Pakistan’s test team captain Misbah Ul Haq will meet PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan in the next couple of days to discuss his future, Dawn News reported.
He talked to media after Karachi Kings and Islamabad United’s contest and said that he will surely travel with the team to the West Indies for their upcoming Test series, however, it is yet to be decided that whether he will travel as the captain or in the capacity of a normal player.
“I will meet the PCB chairman in the next two days to discuss my plan,” said Misbah.
“I can only confirm my availability for the upcoming series, however, as far as my career as captain goes, the board and the chairman will have the last say on that,” he added.
It was expected that the 42-year old will retire from international cricket after having an unsuccessful tour of Australia.
But, Misbah Ul Haq announced that he will make decision about his future after the conclusion of Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) second edition.
