Moeen Ali joins COVID-19 relief efforts campaign in Pakistan

Karachi: England’s all-rounder Moeen Ali has joined Pakistan’s tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi in his COVID-19 relief efforts campaign ‘Star Against Hunger’.

Aisam took to Twitter to reveal that Moeen has presented his Multan Sultans’s shirt for auction. The raised money will be used to help needy families effected by widely-spread COVID-19 in Pakistan.

Earlier, Pakistan cricket stars including Shoaib Akhtar, Wasim Akram, Mushtaq Ahmed, and other sportsmen have also contributed to Aisam’s campaign.

It must be noted here that COVID-19 has brought the whole world at a standstill. The world suffered a lockdown situation with all major public gatherings abandoned for an indefinite period of time.
