Mohammad Bilal defeated England’s George Ramm by 3:1 classification points to claim the bronze medal in 57kg weight category in men’s freestyle wrestling at Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast.
The wrestler, who hails from Gujranwala, defeated Malta’s Gary Giordmaina and Sri Lanka’s Divoshan Charles Fernando, but lost the gold medal to India’s Rahul Aware.
It is Pakistan’s third bronze medal of the Commonwealth Games 2018.
Earlier, Talha Talib put up an impressive show in the 62kg weight category of men’s weightlifting where he lifted total of 283kg to stand at the third place.
Whereas, Pakistan’s well-known weightlifter, 20-year old Nooh Dastagir shined in +105kg weight category by lifting total of 395kg to bag the second bronze of Commonwealth Games 2018.
