Mohammad Hafeez stuck at London Airport on his way to CPL

LONDON: Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Hafeez has been stuck here at Heathrow Airport on his way to Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Taking to Twitter, Hafeez bashed a private airline for a delay in flight at Lahore airport that led him to miss connecting flight here.

“Facing worst experience of flight schedules & management from Virgin Atlantic. Cancellations & delayed flights from Lahore resulting in missing connecting flights. No hotel arrangements for a forced overnight stay here at Heathrow Airport. No lounge facilities after 9 pm,” he wrote.

It must be noted here that Hafeez will represent Guyana Amazon Warriors in CPL 2021. Other Pakistanis who will play in CPL are Shoaib Malik (Guyana Amazon Warriors), Wahab Riaz, Usman Qadir (Saint Lucia Kings), Yasir Shah (Trinbago Knight Riders), Mohammad Amir, Azam Khan (Barbados Royals).
