Karachi: Mohsin Hassan Khan once again desires of taking Pakistan’s cricket team to its height of success. He said I would like to serve the nation being a coach however I have not yet decided to forward my application.

While speaking to the media the former test opener said as a coach I gathered lot of success and I want to do the same. The team’s success during my period is in front of everyone. Replying to a question he said I will always stick to my principles and would never become a part of a management team which carries accused players. He confirmed that he was offered the chief selector’s position by Shaharyar Khan but he preferred coaching instead. He said he had not yet applied for this position but would soon do so.

Its worthy to mention that Mohsin Khan remained coach for Green Shirts in 2012 for a short period during which Pakistan showed brilliant performance making a whitewash win against England 3-0 and created some other successes but despite all this he was removed from his position and Dav Whatmore was brought in as a coach. He had applied in 2014 but Waqar Younus was preferred.
