Moin plans to gain public sympathy with rally in his favour: sources


KARACHI: Following series of accusations and barbs over his casino visit in Christchurch, Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Moin Khan is likely to get demonstration staged in his favour in Karachi, sources told ARY News here Monday.

According to sources, Moin Khan has planned to effect protest demonstration outside Karachi Press Club in an attempt to prove that the nation is supporting him.

The chief selector also postponed his meeting with PCB Chairman Shehryar Khan till tomorrow after stating that he was unwell.

ARY News was the first channel to report that Moin Khan was seen at a casino in New Zealand’s city of Christchurch ahead of Pakistan’s World Cup match against West Indies.

Khan had confessed that he did visit the gambling den and asked the nation to forgive him.
