‘Two or three more years left in my career, I want to play as much as I can’ Moeen Ali

Birmingham: England’s all-rounder Moeen Ali wants to return in Test cricket, once the sport resumes after Coronavirus dies down, as he thinks ‘Two or three more years left in his career’.

Speaking to BBC Sports, Ali reiterated that he wants to make the most of the time left in his career and play as much cricket as he can during this period.

“Cricket at the highest level will probably finish for me in two or three years,” said Moeen, who last played a Test for England in 2019.

“I want to make the most of it and play as much as I can. I only did it [stepped away from international cricket] for a bit of a break, and I’ve had that now,” he added.

It must be noted here that Moeen has played 60 Tests, 102 one-day internationals, and 28 Twenty20s for England. He was also a part ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 winning side.
