Mr Salman Iqbal witnesses Afghan Premier League's live action

Karachi Kings’ owner, Mr Salman Iqbal went to Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday to witness the live action of Afghanistan Premier League’s game between Paktia Panthers and Kandahar Knights.

The CEO and founder of ARY Networks, Mr Salman Iqbal watched the exciting contest alongside Sharjah Cricket Stadium’s MD, Mazhar Khan and businessman Imran Chowdhary.

The Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) Shafiq Stanikzai was also present to watch the live action. Moreover, vice-chairman of Sharjah Cricket Stadium Waleed Bukhatir also enjoyed the live contest.

Pakistan’s seasoned all-rounder, Shahid Afridi is also a part of Paktia Panthers, who won the nail-biting contest by nine runs.

Paktia Panthers batted first after winning the post and posted a moderate total of 127 runs on the board before getting all-out in 18.2 overs.

The seasoned all-rounder Shahid Afridi bowled a splendid spell in the match where he took one wicket and gave away just 13 runs in his four overs.

However, the star performer for Panthers remained Sri Lanka’s Isuru Udana, who bowled a match-winning spell, where struck thrice leaking just 19 runs.

Kandahar Panthers were restricted to 118 runs as they got all-out with two balls to spare.
