WBC Silver Flyweight Champion, Muhammad Waseem registered another victory in his pro boxing career by defeating Ivan Trejos in the third round of the fight at Panama.
The ‘Falcon’ Khan faced off the local Panama boxer of Bantamweight category in a warm-up fight on Saturday, which was his second fight in a span of a month.
Muhammad Waseem is honing his skills ahead of his title fight which is expected later this year.
Waseem had to put his preparations for the title fight on hold due to lack of funds, but a couple of months back, the government of Pakistan issued funds for him that helped him train and Panama and fight two warm-up bouts.
Andy Kim, the promoter of Muhammad Waseem, is hoping to get more funds from the boxer’s government so that he can host the title fight, which can help him to do better in the fight.
