Khyber Agency’s 15-year old Muskan Afridi is the first-ever female archer from FATA and she is ready to participate in the sixth National Archery Championship in Peshawar.
She secured the third position in the previous archery championship. Moreover, she has claimed the first position in Khyber Peace Games and Governor Youth Sports Festival.
This time, the young archer is looking to make history at the national level by winning the first position in the campaign.
“I am hoping to make FATA proud by winning the National Archery Championship,” said Muskan Afridi.
The 15-year old further talked about the lack of facilities in her region and appealed to the government to support the athletes of FATA.
“There are teams from different departments and provinces, they all are well-equipped, whereas FATA does not have the same luxury that is why FATA is not producing any player,” she went on to say.
