Mysterio’s kick costs life of Mexican wrestler


MEXICO CITY: Mexican wrestler Perro Aguayo Jr.  also known as El Hijo del Perro Aguayo, died of injuries he suffered during a match which also featured World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) performer Rey Mysterio, reports.

According to reports, he suffered a cervical spine trauma after Mysterio dropkicked him into the ring ropes to set him up for his signature move “619”. It was said that the superstar never regained consciousness after the kick.

The match went on for several minutes into the incident.

He was rushed to a medical facility where he succumbed to his injuries.

Aguayo started wrestling at the age of 15 in Mexico went on to become a three-time Mexican National Tag Team champion with his father Pedro Aguayo. He had opened his own wrestling brand as well named Perros del Mal.
