The PCB’s Director Marketing & Sales and Project Director PSL, Naila Bhatti on Tuesday resigned from her post citing personal issues.
The chairman PCB, Ehsan Mani has accepted Naila’s resignation and released her from the designation.
The board praised Naila’s services while working with the board since 2015.
Naila was appointed as the Director marketing in 2015 during the tenure of Sheryar Ahmed as Chairman PCB.
Later in 2018, she got the job to govern the affairs of the only cricketing league of Pakistan.
She was also the key component in taking the league on the next level.
On the other hand, Naila played an important role in planning and execution, including the selling of the franchises, Broadcasting Rights and In-Stadia rights.
It is pertinent to mention here that since the new PCB chairman took charge, the board went through some major changes.
According to the sources, now the PCB need early replacement on this post as the next edition of the PSL is around the corner.
The PCB also announced to conduct eight of the PSL matches in Pakistan next year.
