Najam Sethi says hosting PSL in Pakistan is not a distant dream anymore

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board and Pakistan Super League, Najam Sethi said while addressing the opening ceremony of PSL that hosting a whole season of PSL does not seem like a distant dream anymore.

“That time is not far when the whole PSL will be played in Pakistan,” he stated. “Multan, Faisalabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Hyderabad and Islamabad will host the matches,” he added.

Sethi was excited to address the opening ceremony of the third edition of PSL and said the third season of the league is presented with restless hard work and sheer honesty.

The PCB chairman once again welcomed the newest member of the league, Multan Sultans.

Najam Sethi also called the league an asset of the nation and everyone should look to protect this asset. He emphasized that the league should be kept safe from all sorts of politics.

“This asset belongs to Pakistanis,” he said. “We have to keep it safe from politics, I request you all to protect this asset for the nation, your role is essential in its protection,” he went on to say.
