Naseem Shah ruled out of PSL 5 action for one week due to ankle injury

Rawalpindi: The 17-year-old pacer Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five for at least one week after suffering from an ankle injury.

Quetta Gladiators’ fast bowler damaged his left ankle strain in the game against Peshawar Zalmi at Pindi Cricket Stadium yesterday. He left the field after bowling two overs and giving away six runs.

Naseem will probably miss two matches on 7th and 11th March against Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans respectively. The team management is confident that the injury is mild and he will recover soon.

It must be noted that he missed the first two matches of the competition in order to recover from the injured ribs. He has played five matches in the PSL 5 and picked only three wickets.
