Nashra Sandhu tests COVID-19 positive ahead of women’s training camp


KARACHI: Nashra Sandhu, one of Twenty-six cricketers for women’s training camp, has been tested COVID-19 positive, ARY News reported.

The team’s physio Rafat Gul was also tested positive for COVID-19 but recovered from it after being quarantined for 10 days. Both of them were tested positive in their first test which was conducted at their home as per the directives from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

However, other players gathered here at a local hotel on April 17. They were tested for the second time upon their arrival. The players and supporting staff are currently quarantined here. After seven days of the quarantine period, players will be tested again before the training camp officially commences from April 24.
