National Cycling Championship kicks off August 23 in Karachi


The Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) is all set to host the National Cycling Championship in Karachi from August 23, ARY Sports reported.

PCF in collaboration with Bikestan is all set to lit up a grand stage for cyclists in the city of lights. Teams from all over Pakistan will participate in the event.

As many as 120 cyclists from Pakistan Army, WAPDA, SSGC, Bikestan, Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, and Islamabad will be seen in action in a three0day event.

According to PCF’s secretary, Syed Azhar Ali Shah, the event will be an opportunity for cyclists to show their strength. “This event is a healthy activity for the cyclists around Pakistan who come and contribute their part in the event,” he said while talking to the media.

Shah said that all the teams have reached Karachi to participate in the event and PCF is taking care of their accommodation. “PCF always support the cyclists and we are hopeful to make this event successful,” he said.

Cyclists will participate in different categories including Men’s, women’s, juniors, and seniors.
