National Cycling Championship kicks off December 15


The National Cycling Championship to kick off from December 15 in Lahore, the secretary of Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) Azhar Ali Shah said on Thursday.

As many as 14 teams will represent regions and departments. Male and female cyclists will feature in the championship to showcase their skills.

Moazam Khan has been appointed as the chairman of organizing committee which will make efforts to make this event successful.

Shah while talking to the media said that they have also planned to stage junior cycling events in near future to highlight young talented kids having the passion for cycling.

“We will stage some events for junior cyclists as well,” he said.

He said that the exclusion of cycling event from upcoming SAFF Games is not fair as it has disappointed many cyclists.

“Cycling has been excluded from SAFF Cup which is not right,” he said.
