National Junior Snooker Championships kick off July 31


LAHORE: Maiden National Junior U1-17 and 13th National Junior U-21 Snooker Championship will take place here from July 31 to August 10. 

According to the details, as many as 18 players will take place in the U-17 championship whereas 19 players will compete in the U-21 championship. The winning players will be sent to World Junior Snooker Championship.

The President of Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA), Javed Akram shared that the Punjab government has given permission to conduct this event in strict SoPs.

“COVID-19 has affected Snooker a lot. This event is a ray of hope for junior players and we have got permission to conduct it in strict SoPs. We confidently aim to complete this tournament,” he said.
