National squad to return Pakistan on August 27

Jamaica: The national cricket squad will fly to Pakistan from a successful tour of the West Indies on Thursday, August 25.

The members of the cricket squad will arrive at the Lahore airport at night between Thursday and Friday (August 27). They will travel from Jamaica to Pakistan via London.

Four players batsman Azhar Ali, leg-spinner Yasir Shah, pacers Mohammad Abbas and Naseem Shah will not return.

Yasir Shah and Naseem Shah left for Antigua to participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) while Abbas and Azhar Ali will stay in London to play county cricket.

It must be noted Pakistan won four-match T20 series by 1-0 while they levelled the two-match Test series 1-1.
