National team to undergo COVID-19 screening tomorrow


Lahore: Probables for T20I and ODI series against Zimbabwe will undergo for COVID-19 screening here tomorrow, ARY News reported. 

Announced probable will be tested twice for the widely spread virus. Only players testing COVID-19 negative twice will be allowed to join the bio-secure bubble for the tour.

Meanwhile, cricketers’ families will only be allowed to reside in the bio-secure environment after COVID-19 screening.

The national team will attend four-days training camp ahead of the ODI series against the tourists.

It must be noted here that the Zimbabwe team has already arrived in Islamabad to participate in the ODI and T20I series in COVID-19 times. The last time, they visited the country in 2015 in a bid to revive international cricket here.
