National Test cricket squad reaches Jamaica

Jamaica: The Pakistan men’s cricket team have arrived in Jamaica for the Test series against West Indies, starting from August 12.

The squad arrived in Jamaica from Guyana via Barbados. All members of the squad will undergo Covid 19 testing upon arrival in Jamaica.

If the test results are negative, the national test squad will be allowed to train. Test results will be received on Tuesday.

Sabina Park in Kingston will host two Tests, part of the ICC World Test Championship.

It must be noted that the T20I series between the two sides was majorly affected by rain. Pakistan won the four-match series 1-0 while three matches were abandoned due to rain.
