The National Women’s softball championship is set to take place from November 5 to 7 at government girls cant college, Quetta.
The Pakistan softball federation (PSF) has given Balochistan Softball Federation (BSF) a chance to organise the event which will pave the way for women players to showcase their talent.
As many as seven teams including Pakistan Army, WAPDA, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan and Islamabad will take part in a three-day tournament.
The secretary BSF Naseem Khan while talking to the media said that it is an honour for them to stage a high-profile softball event.
“We are confident to make this tournament successful,” he stated.
He said that Baluchistan is a safe place where all kind of sporting events can take place easily.
“I think we are able to host sporting events in Baluchistan which looks for such opportunities,” he said.
