The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) defeated Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) by 6-4 on a penalty shoot-out to win the 65th Air Marshal Noor Khan National Hockey Championship at Abdul Sattar Hockey Stadium, Karachi on Monday.
Both teams showcased fighting spirit in front of a scattered crowd at the stadium and held the first quarter goalless. The players from both sides played aggressively and often took chances in the opening quarter.

Thereafter, NBP players defended their goal post and tried to bring an equalizer but on the other hand, SSGC was in an aggressive mode.

The penalty shoot-out contest was yet another nail biter of the day but NBP struck 6 and SSGC fell just two short.
