The right-handed batswoman Javeria Rauf has praised the new team management for bringing change to the team’s environment.
“The new team management has brought positive vibes to the team which motivates us to do more hard work,” Javeria said while speaking to the media at National Stadium Karachi on Friday.
Javeria said that team management is working with players individually and trying to overcome weaknesses. “The coaching staff is keeping a close eye on each player and hopefully the results against South Africa will make difference,” said Javeria, who is optimistic to perform against South Africa in their upcoming ICC Women’s Championship fixture.
She said that South Africa is a string unit and they need to be mentally strong against them. “They have good players and also the home advantage so we will try to play positive cricket against them,” she said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan will be featured in three-match ODI series against South Africa starting from May 6. They will also play five T20I series against the hosts in their backyard.
