‘Nothing is impossible when you believe in Allah’ Rizwan

LAHORE: Mohammad Rizwan said his hard work and belief in Allah took his game forward and success was achievable for him.

Speaking in a video interview, Rizwan credited his hard work and determination for reaching the stage where people changed their mindset regarding him. “When you make your aim and believe in Allah, then nothing is impossible. I worked really hard and tried to improve myself and Allah helped me and I performed,” he said.

“This century knock has now more value as we won the game. It was a tough pitch for our bowlers but they fought well to win this game. Winning the first game of the series always helps in gaining confidence and I hope we continue this performance,” he added.

Talking about his record T20I inning, Rizwan said his team’s target was on his mind all the time at the crease. “I am happy to achieve this feat. But, to be honest I didn’t chase my century throughout my time at the crease as you saw two of my catches being dropped at 96 and 98. On my mind, there was my team’s target which we set for this game and alhamdulillah we achieved it,” he concluded.
