Karachi: Pakistan’s experienced cricketer Shoaib Malik has no plans for now to take retirement, ARY Sports reported.
While talking to the media at Karachi’s National Stadium, Malik straightforwardly said that he has no plans to hang up his boots for maybe the next two to three years. “Let’s make me clear, I don’t have any plan to retire from cricket for now. I have already committed with two to three international cricket leagues for nest two years, so I will keep on playing,” he said.
Malik has shown immense confidence in his fitness standard and said that he is capable of competing at the international level. “I am completely fit and feel too amazing to be in the ground. I field at the boundary and I am pretty quick in the field, sometimes stop two runs by the youngsters,” the veteran of 113 T20Is said.
It must be noted here that recently Malik made a comeback in the national T20I team against Bangladesh. He led Pakistan to win in the first contest with 58 runs not out.
