‘Our batsmen did well in last few series’ reminds Hasan Ali

London: Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali has reminded the cricket fraternity that Green Shirts’ batsmen have performed well in the last few series and are aware of the mistakes they did in England’s ODI series.

Green Shirts lost to England at Lord’s in the second ODI of the series by 52 runs. The hosts now have an unbeatable lead of 2-0 in the series.

“We have coaches here and our batsmen are aware of the mistakes they made but don’t forget that they’ve done well for Pakistan in the past, especially in the last two series,” Hasan said after the match

“Unfortunately, our top-order could not score runs here and we lost the first and second match,” he added.

Meanwhile, Hasan claimed five-wickets in the match but is disappointed with back-to-back losses.

“I’m feeling proud after taking five wickets today but on the other hand I am disappointed that we lost two back-to-back games and the ODI series. However we are looking ahead to a strong comeback in the third game in Birmingham,” he maintained.

The last match of the ODI series between Pakistan and England will be played on July 13 in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
