‘Our players showed brilliant progress’ Pakistan Squash Federation chief


The senior vice president of the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) Air Marshal Shahid Akhtar Ali is happy to see squash players progressing day by day and clinching worthy titles for the country.

Ali while talking to the media said that the federation has invested a lot to flourish the status of squash in the country and polish the young talent. “We are lucky to have such talented players in squash,” he said.

It merits mentioning here that Pakistan has clinched 32 medals in last year and a half. They have got their junior players among top world rankings.

Ali said that all squash associations are keenly working for the betterment of infrastructure and highlight young talented squash kids who can represent Pakistan at the international level.

“We have planned things with our associations and the results are coming in front of us,” said Ali. He revealed that they have asked Pakistan Squash Association (PSA) to organise the junior tournament.

Ali also praised the players for working hard which paid for them and helped them achieve several titles for their country.

“Our players are committed to the game and want to hoist Pakistan flag high,” he said.
