Australia’s skipper Tim Paine teased wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan from behind the stumps during 46th over of Pakistan’s first inning in the opening Test at Brisbane on Thursday.
“Sarfaraz Ahmed would have already hit it for four, Sweep shot..bang..four,” Paine taunted Rizwan while he was tackling pressure in Lyon’s over after Pakistan were five down for 94.
"He smells very nice."

Paine involved Marnus Labuschagne into his chat and told him that Rizwan is smelling good. “He [Rizwan] smells very nice,” he told Labuschagne at short-leg.
This is not the first time Paine teased a player from behind the stumps as earlier he sledged India’s Rishabh Pant back in 2018. He asked Pant to babysit his kids.
It must be noted here that Pakistan were bowled out for 240 runs on Day 1. Asad Shafiq top-scored with 76 runs off 134 balls.
