Tim Paine gets robbed during self-isolation at home

Hobart: Australia’s Test skipper had been robbed outside of his home as his brand new car was broken and his wallet was subsequently taken as well.

Paine had moved his car out to the street in order to create space inside his garage, where he planned to install a home gym, among other things, a hanging stocking by the door to practice his cover drive.

I woke up this morning to a text from NAB saying my credit card has been used, I went outside and the car door was open and the wallet’s gone,” he said.

Interestingly, the robbers went to McDonald’s after the robbery, “Actually, looking at my account, the boys went straight to Maccas, the boys must have been hungry,” he added.
