Pakistan aims to bounce back with three changes in the team

Pakistan looking to bounce back in today’s match against in-form Afghanistan, while Afghanistan eyes another upset after defeating Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Pakistan who were outclassed by Rohit Sharma-led India on Wednesday, have made three changes in the game. Pacer Mohammad Amir have been replaced by Shaheen Shah Afridi Faheem Ashraf by Haris Sohail and Shahdab Khan by Muhammad Nawaz.

Spin is likely to play a major part again and Afghanistan, who comfortably outgun Pakistan in this department – even if Shadab was fit – will look to throttle Pakistan the same way they did Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Pakistan are the higher-rated side, but with their loss to India and Afghanistan’s fantastic two-in-two, the odds look completely even in this Asia Cup Super Four fixture.

Pakistan Team:
Sarfraz Ahmed (captain/wicketkeeper), Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Haris Sohail, Muhammad Nawaz, Hasan Ali, Usman Khan Shinwari and Shaheen Shah Afridi

Afghanistan Team:
Mohammad Shahzad(w), Ihsanullah Janat, Rahmat Shah, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Asghar Afghan(c), Mohammad Nabi, Najibullah Zadran, Gulbadin Naib, Rashid Khan, Aftab Alam, Mujeeb Ur Rahman
