Pakistan Army recruits viral long jumper Asif Magsi


Lahore: Pakistan Army has called viral long jumper Asif Magsi to join the Army athletics team, ARY News reported. 

According to the details, Asif will be trained under the supervision of Army’s athletics coaches. He will join the army team soon after giving a trial.

PAF’s president Major General Akram Sahi was happy that Pakistan Army picked up Asif for training. “I am sure Asif will be polished quite well by the Army coaches. He is the asset for Pakistan and I hope one day he represents Pakistan at the international level,” he said.

“We will be there for support and help for Asif anytime and I wish him best of luck for his future,” he added.

It must be noted here that Asif’s videos went viral on social media in which he can be seen jumping over 11 bikes and a lake covering a handsome distance.
