Another medal added to Pakistan’s medal tally as men’s Squash team claimed bronze medal in the ongoing Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta.
Arch-rivals Pakistan and India both lost in the semi-final, Malaysia beat Pakistan by 2-0 while India was thrashed by Hong Kong by 2-0.
Earlier, Pakistan beat Korea by 3-0 to reach in semi-finals in the last group match to claim the second position in the Group A.
Pakistan kabaddi team managed the first bronze medal after they lost their semi-final 27-24 to South Korea. The second bronze medal was secured by 19-year-old Nargis in Karate (69 kg category), while Javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem have won the third bronze medal for Pakistan in Asian Games.
Pakistan is now standing at No. 34 in the points table with four bronze medals to its name.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Volleyball team have booked the place in the finals.
