Pakistan beat India in Asian Junior Team Squash Championship

Pakistani young squash masters showed their dominance winning two of their three matches at the group stage of the Asian Junior Team Championship.

Abbas Zaib played brilliantly overcoming his Indian counterpart by winning three sets. Winning the first match on the title decider day gave Pakistan a much-needed edge. Indian contestant managed to win two in reply.

In the second match, Pakistan’s representative Farhan Hashmi remained unlucky losing to Tushant Shahani by 2-3. India’s strong comeback in the second match created a bit pressure in Pakistan’s amp.

In the third and final match, Pakistan’s Haris Qasim despite suffering from an injury defeated his opponent by 3-2.
