Pakistan beats India, wins HomeWorld Thunder Nation Cup


Pakistan beat India by seven wickets to win HomeWorld Thunder Nation Cup at Sydney Showground Stadium.

The men in green remained dominant throughout as they chased the 50-run target without losing a wicket. Openers Waleed Jalil (21*) and Subhan Khan (18*) drove Pakistan to win line.

Earlier, while batting first after winning the toss, India scored 49 runs in 6 overs. Nadeem Ahmed top-scored with 11 runs.

For Pakistan, Khuwaja bagged two wickets for five runs.

It must be noted here that HomeWorld Thunder Nation Cup is played over six-overs-format. Each side contains eight players.
